As part of a the team of Operators you will be responsible for operating plant equipment and chemical processes safely and efficiently to maximize production output.
Key responsibilities:
Perform all duties at all times in compliance ,business conduct policies and guidelines.
Monitor and control the operation of process plant to ensure that process parameters are maintained within accepted limits.
Analyse minor processing and equipment problems in order to effect solutions.
Take samples of process intermediates and carry out on plant testing as required by quality control systems.
Advise and brief senior managers on emerging situations and manage process upsets in a safe, timely and effective manner.
Ensure completion of scheduled surveys and reports including standard work activities, check sheets etc.
Report maintenance work requirements on the plant to minimise downtime and cost.
Contribute to the development of procedures/ work instructions and continuous improvement activities.
Key Candidate Requirements:
Strong numerical ability in Maths and English. Chemistry or a technical qualification would be advantageous.
Experience in the chemical industry would be advantageous.
Highly motivated to deliver a quality service.
