Caché System Manager Contract 6 Months Bristol/Cambridge. My client a leading global name in their industry is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Caché System Manager to join their team on a contract 6 months

Candidates will be expected to manage the Caché Databases and configuration that run the Epic EPR according to Epics guidance. You arrange Install and Upgrade of Caché instances with the Linux team. You will be expected to perform daily housekeeping and manage the Epic Core Utilities. You will manage the Linux file systems under /epic and Start and stop Caché and Epic environments using both Epic and Caché utilities. You will Maintain Caché level security and Configure Epic environments using Epic configuration utilities.

The Caché system manager should have or gain an understanding of The underlying hardware and operating system, Caché, including routines, globals, and namespaces. You will have an understanding of what constitutes an Epic environment and Epic's utilities and run levels

Successful candidates must have a EPIC qualification, successful candidates will have experience as a system manager in a storage management environment, and ideally with caché systems. If this sounds like an interesting role then drop me a CV so that we can speak in more detail.
