Business Analyst Bank Operations Dublin contract 12 Months Contract. My client a global leading firm is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Business Analyst that will join their team for a 12 month contract with view for longer or permanency.

This program will move the operations processing from many legacy applications onto a new single platform. The successful candidate must be able to communicate well and work with the operations and technology teams to articulate the vision and drive the implementation. In addition your project management skills and tools will be essential to meet the deliveries on time and on budget realising the value to the user and to the bank.This role provides an excellent opportunity to build an extensive network across operations; requiring interaction with front office, support operations and technology.

Candidates will preform Business analysis and requirements definition, you will develop project schedule and milestones. You will be expected to assign individual responsibilities and co-ordinating activities. Candidates will manage project implementation and report on progress against plan. You will identify and manage project risks, issues and you will run steering groups and working groups as required.

Successful candidates will have a proven track record in business analysis, this will include a proven track record of delivering complex projects to plan and on budget and ability to run several projects concurrently with relative autonomy. Candidates will have a proven ability to understand and manage the sensitivities of stakeholders at different levels. Successful candidates will have experience in gathering and documentation of requirements. You will also have experience of process flow mapping and gap analysis. You will be competent with MS products: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project and Visio. it would seen as advantageous if you had knowledge of structured project management methods such as PRINCE2 or Microsoft Solutions Framework. If you had knowledge of structured business analysis (e.g. 6 Sigma) techniques, this would be desirable and ideally if you had experience of working in Financial Services, especially Investment Banking (particularly Product Knowledge: Securities (Cash Equity and Fixed Income) would be big advantage.
