Category & Brand Manager/Assistant Manager

Role Responsibilities:
 Develop advanced understanding of consumer category shopping behaviour
 Ensure strategy and tactics are regularly presented externally & internally that support innovation and company initiatives
 Converting Brand and Category Opportunities into selling propositions
 Examine data to ensure an in-depth understanding of category & promotions
 Deliver continuous insight through performance monitoring
 Create, develop and deliver regular category updates for internal & external stakeholders
 Implement category approach to all NPD
 'Own' the category management agenda at meetings, turning insights into actions for the sales, business operations and shopper teams
 Bring the shopper & consumer view to the internal team aiding the delivery of innovation launches, promotional plans and JBP planning
 Category expert & have an in depth understanding of the market place.
 Organising POS

 Demonstrates a high degree of attention to detail and recognise the importance of timely completion of tasks
 Proactive & able to act on your own initiative
 Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with others
 Demonstrates an ability to listen carefully and understand instructions
 Presents information in a clear and concise manner
 Communicates and interacts in a way that shows respect, consideration and professionalism
 Monitors and manages own time to ensure daily objectives are met
 Develops and improves procedures in agreement with line manager
 Adapts to changes and uses resources effectively
 Computer literate - Powerpoint & Excel Skills essential
