Key Deliverables:

* Customer Order processing
* Additions and amendments to customer orders in systems as necessary
* Provide daily order report to transport confirming order numbers, delivery instructions etc.
* Booking deliveries for and communicating delivery information to customers as required
* To provide 'inbound' customer service response via phone, email, fax
* To provide 'outbound' customer service response, delivering an end to end solution on issues arising - follow up on orders, refusal, damages etc as required
* Maintenance of customer complaints log, tracking issues through to resolution
* Process uplift requests - process and send documentation to transport
* Liaising with Sales team and assisting with queries
* Ensures the quality of work output by displaying a keen attention to detail
* Provide detailed analysis for the development of optimised transportation and logistics solutions
* Develop detailed freight analysis and project plans to review carrier rates and routes
* Identifies opportunities and makes recommendations for improvements
* Applies tactical processes daily within the established business rules
* Supports the design and implementation of a developed supply chain solution as it relates to specific business agreements
* Ability to work cross-functionally, with individuals at different organisational levels both internally and with external business partners
* Problem solving; ability to drill down into various sources of data and investigate reasons or source of issue, follow through to resolution
* Ability to understand the business operations in order to analyse data effectively
* Ad hoc analysis and reporting

Key Competencies Essential:

* Excellent Customer Service Skills
* Previous experience in Logistics warehouse and/or freight Companies essential
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; emphasis in Business, Logistics or Supply Chain preferred
* Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, Office, PowerPoint) * Strong Communication Skills verbal and written
* Ability to prioritise workload and deliver to deadlines
* Team Player, flexible and proactively uses own initiative
* Completer/Finisher - follow through tasks, queries etc. to completion
* Demonstrable experience working in a high volume FMCG/Freight/Logistics company
