Requirements of the role:

- Prepare and maintain Site Specific Method Statements
- Preparation of Lift Plans and Traffic Management Plans
- Review and interpretation of safety documentation being submitted by Contractors (i.e. site Risk Assessments and Method Statements etc.)
- Lead monthly QHSE meeting
- Conduct relevant Health and Safety Training for Staff such as Manual Handling, Ergonomic Assessments, PPT, Forklift etc
- Maintain H&S training records for all staff
- Carry out site safety audits and ensure any issues raised are closed with a corrective action plan in a timely manner
- Review and action site audit reports completed by Customers
- Record H&S non-compliances in the audit tracker
- Interpreting company policies to workers and enforcing Health and safety regulations
- Ensure the accurate filling of all required paperwork by the relevant personnel
- Establishing or adjusting work procedures to meet H&S standards
- Ensure DCs hygiene is kept to the required standards at all times, ensuring regular walks of the warehouse and the external yard and perimeter
- Ensure all new staff on site are fully inducted and trained prior to commencing work

The ideal candidate will:
- Have relevant QHSE qualifications and have at least five year's experience, ideally in a similar sector
- Quality Management experience within the FMCG industry
- Should be familiar with ISO Certifications and successful attainment of same
- Be comfortable developing the Company's QHSE systems and encouraging a culture of excellence and compliance
- Be knowledgeable with all aspects of the above standards, relevant legislation and compliance requirements
- Have excellent verbal and written English with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels within the Company
- Have a high level of competency and accuracy in writing and maintaining clear and professional documentation relating to integrated management systems
- Possess strong planning, organisational, teamwork and presentation skills
- Be computer literate with Microsoft Office to a proficient level with good typing skills
