Director of Sales and Marketing
*Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans against a defined hotel budget to drive revenues for each of the revenue streams within the hotel group to include the room product, leisure, conference & events, food & beverage and PR/Marketing activity.
*Passion for industry trends and best practices to be able to identify new opportunities using information to generate sales targets
*Attend revenue meetings to identify revenue opportunities and execute on these opportunities.
*Increase % of revenue from developing existing and new business.
*Management of all activates in sales and marketing channels
*Develop and manage portfolio of accounts in Corporate, MICE, Agent, Tour Operator, OTA, Leisure segments, in local, regional, national, global markets
*Manage and undertake local, regional and national key account activities including trade shows, networking events, workshops, presentations, sales missions
*Set revenue and activity objectives and targets for the Sales Managers and Meetings and Events Teams
*Communicate with internal management to ensure clear scope and project progress.
*Formulate, direct, and coordinate marketing activities for the hotel.
*Evaluate advertising and promotion programs
*Management of our external website, booking engine
*Management and development of sales and marketing assistant.
*Ability to influence across teams and work in conjunction with department heads within the business.
*At least 2 years' experience in a similar role
*Previous sales background within a hotel environment
*Proven sales experience with demonstrable results achieved
*Must be self-motivated and target driven
*A full clean drivers licence
