IT Operations Analyst, Galway, Contract
Contract duration: 6 months plus
Purpose of the role:
The IT Operations Support Analyst is responsible for IT operations support to 200 people in Galway office, as well as day to day support to Ireland associates and visitors. The role includes the provision of services to new hires, providing 2nd line support via tickets routed by the IT Helpdesk, as well as supporting new installations, upgrades and working closely with global support teams as required.
*Considerable knowledge and experience troubleshooting Windows and Macs..
*Active Directory, VPN and TCP/IP experience.
*Good problem-solving abilities.
*Strong customer orientation.
*The ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
*Flexibility in the role is a key requirement.
*Willingness to travel to the Dublin office as required.
*Experience troubleshooting IT infrastructure technologies such as servers, networking, and storage software and hardware.
*Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
*Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability to work independently and as a team player.
*Organizational, interpersonal and strong verbal/written communication skills are critical.
