Job responsibilities include:
*Transactional recording in accounting system
*Assist with the management of accounts receivable to facilitate timely collection of outstanding debt
*Assist with the management of accounts payable including the preparation of a supplier payment list
*Ensure queries are resolved quickly and effectively
*Prepare accruals and prepayments for management accounts
*Support the preparation of statutory returns
*Assist with the management of petty cash and company credit cards
*Process internal purchase orders and employee expenses
*Assist with variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
*Assist with the preparation and negotiation of service letter agreements
*Financial record keeping and filing
*Ordering and sourcing goods and services on a project related basis
*Scheduling subcontractor services for completion of works
*General office filing for financial and project records
*Minimum of 3 years direct experience or similar
*Part or fully qualified CPA/ACCA/AITI
*Team player who also works well independently when needed
*Takes initiative and works constructively to achieve team goals
*Strong IT skills and strong MS Excel skills
*Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
*Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
*An ability to question and improve processes
*Process-oriented with attention to detail
*A self-starter with a highly motivated attitude, as well as a strong desire to understand and add value to the business
