Warehouse Operative

This is a demanding physical role in a busy warehouse environment. Duties include order picking, stock control and the unloading and loading of vehicles. This will require you to drive a forklift truck. The role requires good numeracy, written and verbal skills to effectively communicate to the rest of the logistical team and customers.
Key Duties:
To load and unload vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, utilising the forklift truck
Put together and dispatch customer orders
Van deliveries
Stock Control
Maintaining a safe, clean, well-organised warehouse

Skills Requirements
Pleasant, helpful manner. Able to communicate with other staff members and with customers. Able and eager to learn quickly. Able to work without close supervision. Willingness to take responsibility for actions. Attention to detail. Customer orientated. Dependable and reliable. Conscientious. Good team member. Good attendance member. Have to be computer literate. Must possess good customer values.

Warehouse experience an advantage
Must have a full clean driving licence
Must be over 25 years old
Up to date Forklift Ticket required
Up to date Manual Handling required
