Accounts Assistant Role

The main duties of this role will include:

Preparation of daily rental accounts for landlords, checking the bank accounts daily for rent received.

Recording the rent and preparing payments due to landlords for approval and any deductions required for fees/contractors etc.

Recording rents received on excel and on our CRM system.

Chasing outstanding rental payments for landlords and contacting tenants when rent is not received on the due date.

Issuing late rent notices as required and informing landlords of same.

Preparation of monthly portfolios.

Preparation of monthly and yearly statements for landlords when required.

Liaising with contractors on invoicing/payments/deductions required from rent.

Updating landlords accounts for deductions.

Recording rent and deposits received for letting properties.

Liaising with the letting manager when a move in takes place and preparing the account for closing and transferring rent & deposits collected to the landlord, following deductions and so forth.

Recording deposits received for sales properties. Closing out sales files once sale's close.

Preparing receipts and deductions and liaising with solicitors on the transfer of funds due.

Assisting the property manager with deposit returns to tenants.

Liaising with property manager on any account related issues.

Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations for client accounts held for lettings and sales client deposit accounts.

Preparation of invoices as required for lettings and sales teams and following up on payments of same.

Preparation of monthly reports on properties held, fees generated and so forth for monthly meetings.

Assisting Finance manager with business expenses, supplier payments, and so forth

Any ad hoc related duties:
1.Daily filing of correspondence/memo's, statements, reports and so forth to individual landlord files.
2.Phone support when needed
3.Preparation of window display brochures to support sales/letting team
4.Other admin support with sales and letting team when needed.
