Project Manager Analytics Banking Contract 6-18 Months. My client a leading global financial institution is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Project Manager to join their team on a contract that is likely to extend.

This is a multidisciplinary role that will require the successful candidate to take on ownership of cross lines of business regulatory deliverables, having diverse responsibilities, and will necessitate close partnership with senior business product owners, and various technology teams. Ideally you will have a background in development or have worked very closely with development teams. This individual will work with business users and technology groups to: Analyses present-state, facilitating implementation and provide documentation. Candidates will also plans, organises, monitors and controls projects using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective project completion. Develop and socialise potential technology solutions. Effectively communicate with managers, peers and business partners on deliverables, timelines and escalations as needed. Responsible for Jira updates and project documents. You will need strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines while dealing with an ever changing regulatory environment.

Successful candidates will have strong analytical and quantitative skills. The ability to effectively communicate with both the business and technology. You will have the ability to communicate within a multi-disciplined team, across multiple locations and time zones, and to interact with demanding business users. Candidates will have a flexible, hardworking and "can do" attitude; comfortable working in a fast paced environment with frequent release cycles and rapidly changing priorities. You will have excellent technical skills; MS Excel, jira, MS Project, sharepoint, MS Powerpoint, MS Word. You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are required. You will have a knowledge of software development life cycle and knowledge of agile project management. You will typically have at least 5+ plus years of project management support experience.
