The issuance of quotes to prepay / COS customers in a timely manner, inclusive of internal sales reflecting selling price levels as defined by the Sales Manager Respond promptly to customer queries via email and telephone accordingly
Promote the online portal for prepay bookings and educate the new customer on the system, highlighting the ease of access, real time quote information and user friendly simple transaction process.
Ensure all quotes issued are recorded on the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) System, adhering to the defines process in every instance. Follow up on quotes issued to determine their status is completed in CRM i.e. won or lost.
For any lost quotes, make note of customer and reason for not securing order i.e. too costly compared to competitor etc. Produce weekly reports on jobs secured or lost and reasons therein.
Take payment for jobs secured and ensure all orders are activated through CRM while ensuring all details are entered correctly prior to processing. Follow up on bookings with operations to ensure customer requirements are observed and followed up on in every instance.
Advise on competitor activity as information becomes available Maintain a professional approach to all customers in all instances
Keep note of regular COD / prepay customer with repetitive routes / Freight requirement sand inform business development in this instance as a rate cared may be required
Conform to all company polices and procedures inclusive of Health and Safety Take on additional responsibilities as required from time to time
