Roevin Engineering are delighted to be working with our client; a global leader in technologies for processing a range of materials. They design, manufacture and distribute machines, integrated systems and software for manufacturers and produce components for the construction, ship-building and aerospace industries.

Vacancy: Field Service Engineer (Capital Equipment)

Salary: Basic to £36k DOE (OTE up to £55k)

Benefits: Company vehicle, medical and life insurance.

Due to continued growth they are looking to add up to 4 experienced Service Engineers to their team in the UK who would be responsible for Installation, Maintenance and Repair of machines. These roles would suit only multi-skilled Engineers. All positions are permanent, full-time.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Understand and demonstrate knowledge of engineering activities including:
Service work, preventative maintenance, installation and commissioning of capital equipment (CNC), breakdown - electrical & mechanical.
Trouble shooting: analyse and diagnose all machinery malfunctioning cases, whether electronic, electrical, pneumatic, mechanical
Planning and designing the layout and the mechanical installation
Production lines or modification of existing systems to incorporate machinery or sub-systems
CAD and Cad-Cam software, AutoCAD, project planning and control applications and job costing
Commissioning and customers training: provide maintenance & operating training to customer representatives, to the extend needed to allow customer to maintain and utilize the machinery according to manufacturer guidelines and specification

Degree or Technical diploma (HND) in Mechanical/Electronics Technology.
