Adecco is currently recruiting for one of our clients in the biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry. This is a wonderful opportunity for a 6-month contract with a view to permanency.

Position Summary:

The Site Administrator & Marketing role is responsible for performing the administration and reception in the North Cork office, as well as performing various marketing tasks across Ireland.


Site Administration
*Manage Reception area, receiving visitors and customers, taking phone calls and emails, and ensuring that the site log-in and safety induction is performed
*Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and interviews
*Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
*Develop and maintain filing systems
*Scanning invoices for the Finance Department
*Inputting hours, holidays, and absences for the Payroll Department
*Provide information by answering questions and requests
*Maintain supplies inventory
ocheck stock to determine inventory levels
oanticipate supply needs
oplace and expedite orders
overify receipt of supplies
*Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
*Maintain computer and manual filing systems
*Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
*Execute other ad hoc tasks

*Work closely with the marketing team to ensure activities are implemented seamlessly
*Learn event planning & coordination
*Generate marketing assets and keep track of marketing inventory (brochures, banners, etc.)
*Liaise between departments and marketing vendors ensuring activities are productive and cost effective
*Prepare for European events, tradeshows, internal customer events & visits
*Manage inventory of marketing collateral (all assets)
*Liaise with the sales organization for marketing projects/needs
*Management of photo shoots and video shoots with vendors and local team members (product, operations, etc.)
*Coordinate the PowerPoint presentation displayed on internal monitors at offices and external worksites
*Execute other tasks on an ad hoc basis

*Leaving Certificate or equivalent
*Interest in learning marketing
*Willingness to engage with colleagues and external partners
*Detail oriented and ability to schedule activities and meet deadlines
*Some travel to European tradeshows
*Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with high attention to detail and ability to work with different functional departments
*Able to handle sensitive information with tact and integrity
*Consistently use good judgement and discretion
*Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
