Release/Project Manager Contract Dublin 12 Months. My client a global leading firm is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Release/Project Manager to join them on a contract basis for 12 months.

As a Release/Project Manager, you will be part of a tech team for achieving the project deliverables for different initiatives in the line of business. Your Key responsibilities will be to forward Plan the release windows and cycles across a portfolio. Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality.You will measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time and within budget, and that they meet or exceed expectations. You will Coordinate release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or operating system updates. You will communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes. You will Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations. You will Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews. You will Produce Deployment, Run Books and Implementation Plans. You will perform weekly Release Reporting. Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required. Candidates will develop scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms.

Successful candidates will have Hand-ons exp in shell or any scripting language with UNIX background, You will be well versed in SDLC process and tools like JIRA, GIT, Gradle. You Able to work well within the constructs of an agile process, including SCRUM, Continuous Build and Integration, etc. You will have experience with Complex Business and Technology Systems and associated release complexity. Standard Project Management and MS Office tools. You will have typically 5 or more years of systems engineering experience.
