This is an ideal, full-time temporary role for someone with a great work ethic and the attention to detail that is part and parcel of a busy credit control role. It's also important that you have a confident, naturally helpful telephone manner as you will be speaking directly with the company's business clients.
Duties and responsibilities:
Ensure the effective collection, control & administration of money owed to the company within credit terms over phone and email
Management of multi-currency ledgers and key customers
Arrange credit checks on new customers and agree payment terms
Monitor aged debt, suspense accounts and stop list
Month end reporting and and ensuring master date is continuously updated
Liaise with Stores regarding toner deliveries for customers on stop
Prepare direct debit run and deal with returned direct debits
Skills and Experience Required:
Previous credit control experience
Previous administration experience
Ability to work accurately and quickly in a demanding environment, while adhering to tight deadlines
Organised approach; attention to detail
Excellent communication skills to be able to deal with both external and internal customers well
