Product and Pricing Executive

A Dublin based Motor company is seeking to appoint a Product and Pricing Executive to support the Product Manager in the key role of maximising sales of models through the optimum product offering for the Irish market.

The Product and Pricing executive will be responsible for:
*Assisting in delivering new motor products to market in line with distributor and brand goals at a very exciting time in the brands 200-year history
*Regular analysis of the competitive set for all product lines to achieve maximum growth
*Monitoring product life cycles and proposing changes where necessary to ensure relevancy
*Accurate costing and pricing of the market offer with a strong focus on profitability
*Analysing the market for consumer, competitor and industry developments on an ongoing basis
*Ensuring all key customer touch points are accurately up to date; spec sheets, press releases, website, price lists and online car configurator
*Preparing reports regularly for key stakeholders within the organisation
*Supporting the dealer network via timely responses on customer queries on product and pricing
*Declaration of new vehicles to SIMI and Revenue in accordance with regulatory standards to ensure timely delivery for customers
*Preparation, maintenance and distribution of price lists to dealer network and customers
*Assist in the preparation of new model training material for the salesforce
*End of series derogation of vehicles, identification and their application with the Road Safety Authority
*Ad-hoc tasks as required
Skills and competencies
*Relevant 3rd level degree qualification and experience preferable
*Strong administrative skills
*Interest or experience in the motor industry an advantage
*High numerical and analytical skills
*Strong strategic and commercial awareness
*Excellent communication, written, verbal, interpersonal and presentations skills
*Ability to work as part of a team or independently when required
*Highly proficient on Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
*Full clean driver's licence
