Project Manager Limerick/Ireland (remote work possibility). Contract 6 Months. My client a leading firm in their global industry is in need of a talented and experienced Project manager to join their group on a contract basis.

Candidates will be expected to drive the development and execution of project plan by working with project team to define, sequence, and estimate duration of activities and determine schedules to meet project objectives. You will ensures consistency and adherence to my clients standards, processes, and policies for all projects. You will Manages all aspects of the project execution including: chartering, scope definition, requirements gathering, project planning, change control, risk management and reporting Facilitates and manages resource planning, cost estimation, budget development, and cost control. Candidates will be required to manages less complex single project, or module of larger project, typically in single functional area Assists with implementing process improvements Provides input into evaluation of project team members Works under specific direction of other Project Managers, IT Managers or Program Managers Interacts with internal customers (i.e., Product Managers, Project Managers, and Business Analysts, etc.)

It provides an exceptional opportunity to obtain a full appreciation, insight and understanding of global systems, operations and processes across a global enterprise. This position offers frequent interaction with and visibility from Senior Executive IT management. You will Aggressively drive Major Incidents to resolution in the most efficient manner possible. You will work with cross-functional teams, globally, and across cultural boundaries. You will Act as designated lead process owner as commander of a Major Incident. You will have knowledge and experience of coding, scripting and automation. You will Hold individual and teams of problem solvers to task on simultaneous technical workstreams with strict, extremely short deadlines. You will Apply business impact analysis techniques to evaluate impact of high severity problems and/or potential impact of proposed changes. You will assist support teams in translating technical impact to business impact and align on priority based on the realised and potential business impact. Successful candidates will have a strong track record of project management , managing similar size projects.
