The new joiner will ideally have experience of a number of construction disputes, from final account and complex delay claims through to defects caused by initial design. The group has a particular interest in candidates that have experience of cladding related claims and also claims involving defective heating, ventilation and drainage claims. The new joiner will have the opportunity to act on behalf of clients in the Technology and Construction court in both arbitration and adjudications.
The group will offer the new joiner a chance for direct client contact, the opportunity to mentor and develop more junior associates and long term progression is possible for those that are willing to put the work in. Although the group focuses primarily on contentious construction matters, there will also be the opportunity to carry out some non-contentious work and candidates with a mixed background will be considered. Those from strong regional practices, in addition to City firms, will be considered.
The firm in which the role is based offers an exceptional work/life balance in comparison with other City practices, a competitive salary offering and a genuinely supportive and welcoming environment.
