My client, a leading global investment manager, are looking to bring on board a senior Regulatory Compliance professional who is already a pre-approved PCF39F.
The Designated Person for Regulatory Compliance will act as part of the Company's line management which sits between the Board of the Company and the Company's delegates and will be responsible for the day to day monitoring and oversight of activities which the Company has delegated to third-parties (including intra-group delegates) to ensure those activities are being carried out properly and in accordance with the policies and directions issued by the Board.
The role will involve the overview, production and reporting of management information to the Board in accordance with internal policy and will contribute to the design of the EMEA framework of regulatory policies and procedures which are instrumental in contributing to a regulatory culture which the Company's wishes its delegates to uphold.
The role will require regular interactions with delegates including, on-site meetings which will require both in-state and international travel.
What they are looking for?
*Excellent experience of working in regulations/guidance issued by the Central Bank of Ireland but also other independent EU authorities (i.e. ESMA). In particular, knowledge of UCITS / AIFMD / MiFID II / EMIR/ SFTR
*Experience of dealing with the Central Bank of Ireland in matters relation to CP86 - Fund Management Companies Guidance and other such guidance relating to outsourcing (i.e. November 2018 Discussion Paper on Outsourcing)
*A working knowledge of the CBI's Strategic Plan and an understanding of the CBI's focus of regulatory interaction with peer group regulated firms
*Professional qualification could include the ACOI's Professional Diploma in Compliance (LCOI) or have gone on to become a fellow of the ACOI (FCOI)
