Revenue Recognition Accounting Analyst Contract
You will join the Global Revenue System Operations (GRSO) team working on the application implemented for the ASC-606 FASB guidance. The Global Revenue System Operations team are responsible for revenue recognition under the standard through the RevPro system and posting this back to SAP G/L. You will be tasked with Coordination status of data from Source SAP to RevPro. You will work with key business stakeholders and team members to resolve business or process issues within RevPro. You will understand and assess current transaction processing, including SOX Control compliance. You will Identify variances and resolve root causes/Defects, You will assist in developing solutions or manual work arounds where necessary, You will beProactive in your Involvement in system development, enhancements and testing.
Successful candidates will have Degree in Accounting / Finance or Professional Qualifications e.g. ACCA/CIMA. You will have at least 5-6 years of working experience in Accounting and/or Finance. You will be an individual with strong technical and analytical skills and sharp in numbers (attention to detail) Good communication and engagement skills, ideally you will have additional Skills, experience in Revenue Accounting area, Experience with RevPro a plus but not required, SAP knowledge or experience and OBIEE/BI reporting knowledge or experience.
