Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior BI Engineer to join a dynamic successful team.



You will be contributing to the decision making across the Trading, Digital, Retail and Marketing functions, by providing high-quality quantitative analysis and models to aid more accurate pricing, optimum pricing strategy and effective risk management.

Experience, Skills & Education:

Experience of data analysis, agile methodologies, working on data centric systems

Deep understanding of SQL and manipulating large multi-dimensional datasets

Experience using visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Qlikview, PowerBI etc).

Experience with statistical or programming software and techniques such as R, python, VBA or others

Experience with team collaboration and documentation tools(e.g Jira, Confluence, MS Teams)

Ability to operate effectively in a team atmosphere within a fast-paced development schedule

Strong communication skills and fluency in verbal and written English are essential

Third level qualification (Computer Science or equivalent IT qualification)

Understand technical concepts and succinctly convey concepts to partners.

Experience in a quantitative analysis

Ability to oversee business, data scientists and developer partners to design end to end data flows and deploy AI/ML models.

Possess good interpersonal and communication skills and can work closely with various inter-related groups in a matrixed environment.

Is a critical thinker and is quick to rethink decisions based on changing situations.
