Our client, a not-for-profit based in Manchester City Centre, are currently recruiting for a Payments Assistant to work within their finance team.
This will be a fixed term contract for 18 months initially, however there are fantastic long term career prospects within this organisation. This will initially be a home based role until such times as the Finance team return to the office, full IT equipment will provided.
The main duties of this role will be:
- Process and pay expenses for staff and associates
- Adhere to strict process and policy guideline
- Produce reports and management information specifically using MS Excel
- Deal with queries via email and telephone in a confident and friendly manner
- Support other finance team members as necessary
Candidates for this role will ideally have previously worked within a finance environment and will have experience of processing payments, fees and expenses. Strong MS Excel skills are essential and you will have ideally previously used financial accounting software. Excellent communications skills and a confident and professional manner are both essential.
