Production Manager - Manufacturing Enviorment
The opportunity: In this role you will manage, control and coordinate the internal supply chain, including workflow from customer service through to dispatch and the customer.
Building relationships with key stakeholders, you will manage goods in, finishing management, stock plus dispatch and transport to ensure components workflow is in the right place, at the right time and in order to achieve deliveries.
*Departmental management of Goods In, Finishing Manager, Stock Control and Dispatch
including all people management and development and process control and improvements
*Building strong relationships with key stakeholders to enable good communication
enabling organisation of workflow and responsiveness to customers
*Provide on the ground intelligence to the planning department, support scheduling
and ensure that workflow is set up to achieve maximum efficiency whilst achieving
*Work with the planning department to achieve short medium- and long-term capacity
requirements and forecasts
*Manage, coordinate and drive site-based operations using the dispatch plan and
*Ensure resources are available to achieve plan and utilised effectively to achieve
*Monitor plan performance v requirements and create all available options to achieve
*Initiate, lead and participate in continuous improvement projects
What you need to succeed:
*Experience within manufacturing operations
*People manager skills
*Excellent communication and listening skills
*Good understanding of Microsoft Office Packages (especially Excel)
*Proven track record of effective problem-solving
*Ability to manipulate and analyse data to drive recommendations and decision-making
*Demonstrate an ability to collaborate and partner with stakeholders across functions
*Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts with internal and external stakeholders
*Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated through effective stakeholder/supplier
