The main responsibilities will include;
Being responsible for coordinating material planning, purchasing and production scheduling and ensuring timely delivery to customers of finished products;
·Establish and maintain strong working relationships with existing and new suppliers ensuring regular meetings are happening to review performance.
Liaise with relevant procurement departments to communicate shortages and urgent shipments
·Provide regular updates to internal and external customers
·Work to reduce / eliminate any potential Excess and Obsolete materials;
Implement a new cost saving programme and roll out to department
·Ensure timely escalation and elimination of any issues
·Responsible for NIP management and new vendor set-up
Ensure system info and data including pricing, is kept up to date and present regular reports displaying same on SAP
Support AP team to ensure timely invoicing and with any issues
Successful applicants should;
-Have experience with vendor management
-Focus on process improvement and proven ability to root cause and issues and implement corrective actions
-Strong negotiation skills
-Excellent communication skills and a great ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders
-Experience within fast paced environments
-Excellent knowledge of MRP and SAP systems with great Microsoft office skills.
-3 years experience within a similar role
