We have an opening for a highly experienced Project Leader to support of client's project for up to 24 months based in Dublin within the Power Generation Sector.

The client is open to offering 18 - 24-month contract however they do have additional projects forecast and can offer a permanent position if that is preferred.

Applicants should hold degree (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or relevant subject) and must have gained significant experience in Power Generation Sector as a Senior Leader and Project Management in energy asset construction or installation business. Experience in power generation sector, specifically medium speed reciprocating engines, CHP or gas engines.

Key Accountabilities

The Project Leader will have overall responsibility for managing the successful delivery of the project and construction from pre-Contract to Construction Completion.
The candidate will lead a team of Project personnel including Engineering, Project Management, HSE, Commercial, Procurement, Consulting engineers, Construction Management and Supplier and Sub-Contractor base to ensure overall successful project delivery that promotes industry leading standards in both safety and quality.
The Project Leader is responsible to ensure the project is delivered safely, on time and on budget.

Accountabilities and responsibilities will include: Team Leadership, Safety, Project Finance, Quality, Governance, Data, Customer Satisfaction, Risk Management Reporting

In addition, the successful candidate will have the ability to lead and drive high performing teams, promoting a culture of personal growth for the betterment of both individuals and Company alike. Adept at navigating, operating, and influencing within a wider business environment.


Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or relevant subject)
Electrical, mechanical and construction track record
HSE Construction Qualification advantageous e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH Managing Safety.
APM or equivalent Professional accreditation preferable.
